Steve is a self taught artist specialising in military illustration, his interest coming directly from his service with the 3rd battalion The Royal Green Jackets. Today Steve lives in Colchester with his wife and two children where he has lived since leaving the Army. Colchester now being the home of 16 Air Assault Brigade provides a never ending source of inspiration.

Steve has completed regimental commissions for The Royal Green Jacket Association, 156 Provost Company, The Airborne Museum and The Royal Scots, as well as work for countless individuals. Recently Steve has moved into a new field, corporate artwork, and has completed repeated commissions for Riflecraft Ltd who are specialists in building tactical rifles and rifle smithing for the UK military and police.

Steve is very proud of mainly illustrating British forces and feels by doing so goes in some way to promoting our armed forces in a similar way as his American counterparts, who do so patriotically and with passion for their fighting men and women. The work featured on the site is in two separate mediums, graphite (pencil) or designer's gouache so as to depict in fine detail.
